Origin: Ried Ladner, Langenlois
Harvest: mid of October
Vineyard: Exposed to the south-east in the west of Langenlois, transition from loess to primary rock with limescale deposits.
Vinification: The fully ripe grapes were rubbed and only lightly crushed to then go through the fermentation on the skins.
Fermentation: With trays in a container without any additives.
Maturation: covered for 6 months by a lid made of grape skins on the whole yeast.
Alcohol: 13,0 vol. %
Serving temperature: 12-14 °C
Optimum drinking: is getting better and more balanced
Wine description: lots of brioche and yeasty notes, also reminiscent of smoked things on the ripe grapes
acidity balanced and soft, with an endless finish
Food pairing: exceptional wine, goes well with strong cheeses as a contrast or with creamy desserts such as creme bruleé.
